Ok, sorry I haven't posted in a while. I was on a camping trip. here is what happened on the way Home from Lake Tahoe. (this is an article in the Newspaper. I replaced names with the CAPS, I don't feel comfortable publishing any names on the Internet.)
"Penn Valley resident DADDY said he's been to war in Afghanistan, but never seen anything so scary as watching his two daughters get in a car crash.
The FAMILY were driving westbound on Highway 20 Saturday around 2 p.m., making their way home from a family camping trip. The parents drove the lead car, and the daughters followed behind in a second car.
Reno resident Mr. UNKNOWN, 19, was driving a 1998 Chevy Suburban when he pulled to the shoulder, letting the parents pass. He then pulled back into the road, trying to make a U-turn just west of Nevada Street, said California Highway Patrol Sgt. Dee Lavrador.
SISTER, broadsided the Suburban as it turned in front of her. Her BLANK-year-old sister, ME, was in the passenger seat beside her and was airlifted to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with pain to the stomach.
SISTER was taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released. Her sister BLANK was treated and released from Sutter; she had bumps and bruises but no internal injuries.
Neither UNKNOWN nor his four adult passengers were injured, although UNKNOWN “was shook up and felt terrible,” DADDY said.
While the car was totaled, DADDY said his family was doing “reasonably well” after the accident. He heaped praise on rescuers, who were “beyond gracious” to his family and helped calm down the worried parents."
I like the replacement of words, even though in a few spots it made the sentence grammatically incorrect.
ReplyDeleteBLANK-year-old?
BTW, what is a helicopter like ;)
ya, I know. but I didn't wanna post anyones age.
ReplyDeleteThe Helicopter... well, I could say the expected answer which would be "painful" but if I over look the reason I was in there... it was pretty cool!
but I was trapped, taped to a backboard... with a neckbrace! so... it was painful.
:)
