Day 23

Today started out at 8:00. not the best time to start your summer Fridays... but oh well!
first, at 9:00 a.m. dad and I headed out to the ranch. giving our horse 100 pills!!
such an annoyin' process! gotta grind the pills, mix with molasses! BLAK! it smells horrid! but, Boomer is worth it!

then, from 10-12:30 I cleaned my neighbors house.
ok... then from 12:30 my parents and I did yard work. we have to big gardens, that ever since we moved in have been, well.. ugly, and just a plain pain to take care of!
we finally got it all spiffied up! I will take pictures sometime! and post them!

Ducks:
they had their first 'swim' today! they still don't have all their feathers yet, so they can still drown. but I think since Mother ducks take their ducks in ponds for a small swim, I should let them try it. (mother ducks time their ducklings, so they won't drown)
so I only filled the tub with a little water, enough to get their bellies, but not enough to drown them! they loved it!
I could see God's amazing design, they immedietly tried swimming, but failing because of how shallow the water was! then when I took them out, I swear they looked at me like how I looked at my mom when we were at the pool and she said "let's go" and I always wanted One more time on the slide that I thought was os scary at the time! :)
but I towel dried them! they are no longer 'real' ducks! they are pampered! hehe!

well. I need to go to bed!
