Ok... well, last I knew there were 11 eggs, buried everywhere in the 'cage' when i checked today, there were 6. that I could find, there were little pieces of egg shell, and then there was a membrane in the water today with little pieces of shell all over it... there were 4 eggs in the dog kennel we put in there for an extra dry place, and then the other 2 outside that little hutch.
what happened to the other eggs? I am missing 5... I know one is gone, so where did the other 4 go?
does anybody know anything about ducks/eggs. I am UBER confused about this.
are the 2 rotten? and the 4 going to hatch??
did the other 4 hatch and the chicks ran away? you think I would notice that, and I think they would be smarter than to run away from mom and dad in the rain... and I doubt they squeezed through the wiring...
Any advice??
